Repairs for White Ant Damage
White ants had been attacking this house, causing huge amounts of damage to timber framework and also the ceiling in the kitchen.
We worked with some red gum timber planks from the owner’s shed to replace a load-bearing door frame, as well as creating a new windowsill and new shelf in the kitchen. Affected window and door architraves were also replaced.
The existing kitchen ceiling was painted timber panelling that was beyond repair, so we installed a new stained matchboard ceiling with new modern downlights also installed.
