Prohibition Distillers takes Seppeltsfield into a New Era
It was such a pleasure to work alongside the Prohibition Distillers team to transform the historic Seppeltsfield distillery into a thriving Gatsby-inspired distillery, tasting and cocktail bar.
This renovation included levelling out the existing flooring, framing out the new heritage-inspired bar, and building the key feature areas that tied into the historic charm of the space. A new wrap-around bar and stunning curved feature-arch bar shelving are some of the highlights.
Take a look behind the scenes as we helped bring this refreshed destination in the Barossa to life – a stunning space at Seppeltsfield and well worth the visit to Prohibition Distillers!
“We engaged Manners Building and Carpentry for a high-end, commercial bar build in a historic Barossa Valley building, and they exceeded our expectations at every stage. Brett’s detail-focused, accommodating approach and proactive input gave us confidence from the outset, and that standard never dropped.
As a designer and operator of multiple bars, our expectations around finish are high, and the team’s attention to detail, willingness to ask questions and commitment to getting things right was exceptional.
Every challenge was handled collaboratively, always aiming for the best outcome, not the easiest, especially with respect to the heritage of the building. We even managed to keep trading through the entire build process, they were always respectful, tidy and discreet.
Despite a very tight pre-Christmas deadline, the project was delivered on time, on budget and exactly as promised.
We couldn’t recommend Manners Building and Carpentry more highly. Professional, reliable and a pleasure to work with.”
